Current Active Openings Include:

• Lincoln County is accepting applications for the position of Kit Carson/Lincoln Counties Retired Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) Director. This position with Lincoln County is full time, with benefits. Salary will range from $1,908 to $2,358 per month, depending on education and experience. This position is with Lincoln County and serves both Lincoln and Kit Carson County residents. Applicants must have a valid driver’s license, a Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences or Business Administration (experience in similar positions can be substituted on a year for year basis), experience working with the elderly and volunteers, and have a background in community development and social service delivery programs. Also required are basic office and computer skills and knowledge of general office procedures. The applicant must be able to work independently, be able to communicate both orally and in writing and have good organizational and public relations skills. Applications may be picked up at the RSVP office at 326 Main Avenue, Flagler; the Lincoln County Administrator’s Office in the courthouse at 103 3rd Avenue, Hugo, or the Kit Carson County Commissioners’ Office in the courthouse at 251 16th Street, Burlington. • Kit Carson County Ambulance Service is accepting applications for on call Emergency Medical Technicians and Support Staff. Kit Carson County Ambulance Service provides services as needed to eastern Kit Carson County and transports to the Denver Metro area. These positions are on call positions and considered part time. Call hours are flexible and paid per event. Other compensation includes uniforms, continuing education training, and opportunity to provide an essential and valuable service to the local community.
